Egypt Gold Price is a publication. These are the standards we hold our own work to, and the standards we want our readers to hold us to.
We are not affiliated with any retail jeweler, bullion dealer, exchange, or financial institution operating in Egypt. Our editorial choices — which prices to publish, how to derive them, how to write about Zakat, which guides to commission — are made independently of commercial relationships.
The site is supported by advertising. We accept both programmatic display ads served through third-party ad networks (such as Google AdSense) and direct paid advertisements booked by dealers, brands, and other advertisers via our contact page. All ad units — programmatic or direct — are clearly distinguishable from editorial content and labeled as advertising. We do not accept paid placement disguised as editorial, paid price quotes, or sponsored rankings inside our price tables. Advertisers have no input on editorial coverage or on the prices we publish.
Prices are derived per our published Methodology. Editorial content cites Egyptian regulatory bodies (Egyptian Gold & Jewellery Division, Central Bank of Egypt) and primary scholarly sources for Islamic finance topics. Where a number is contested, we say so.
We correct errors as soon as we verify them. Material corrections to a published article carry a dated correction note at the bottom of the article. Methodology changes are versioned via the "Last updated" date on the Methodology page. Report errors through our contact form.
We use large language models as a drafting and editing aid for translation between Arabic and English, for code generation powering the site, and for first-pass copy. Every editorial guide is reviewed by a human editor before publication. Pricing logic, Zakat math, and methodology decisions are written by humans, not generated. We do not publish AI-generated price forecasts or speculative trade calls.
Our dated daily market briefings are assembled automatically from our own price database (the same feed that powers the live tables) using a fixed editorial template, and each one carries a visible automation notice at the top of the article. The template, the wording and the analytical framing are written by our editors; only the numbers and the date change. Briefings are reviewed retrospectively and corrected under section 4 if a data error is found.
Nothing on Egypt Gold Price is personalized financial, investment, or religious advice. We publish prices, formulas, and general guidance. Consult a licensed Egyptian financial advisor for investment decisions and a qualified scholar for individual Zakat rulings.
We welcome tips, dispute reports, and methodology critiques. Reach the editor through our contact form.
